  • Logan Staats Details New Album ‘Peacemaker,’ Ontario Release Tour

    Mohawk singer-songwriter Logan Staats is gearing up for a powerful musical journey, announcing the forthcoming release of his new album, Peacemaker, and an accompanying Ontario tour this fall.

    This latest offering follows his critically acclaimed 2023 work, A Light in the Attic, positioning Staats firmly as an artist exploring themes of grounded purpose and spiritual reflection. The new ten-track album is set to arrive on October 2nd.

    The title itself carries significant weight, drawing inspiration from a traditional Mohawk story. Staats shared that the concept behind Peacemaker stems from a narrative that resonated deeply with him—a story focused on peace and unity. He aimed to embody the spirit of this legend, carrying a message of love and harmony into the modern world.

    “The album title is inspired by the story of the Peacemaker,” Staats explained. “It was one of the first traditional Mohawk stories that was shared with me, and it always resonated deeply. The Peacemaker came with a message of peace, buried the weapons of war under the tree, and united the Six Nations. Now more than ever, it feels like the world needs a message of peace and love. I wanted to embody everything that the Peacemaker stood for and carry that sacred message of peace forward.”

    To celebrate the arrival of Peacemaker, Staats is embarking on an Ontario release tour this autumn, bringing his music to six cities across the province. Fans will have the chance to experience the album live as he travels through London, Waterloo, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Kingston.

    The tour kicks off with a performance on September 29th at Aeolian Hall in London. Subsequent dates include performances at Emmanuel United Church in Waterloo on September 30th, and continues through October in Toronto at Hugh’s Room, Hamilton at Mills Hardware, Ottawa at the National Arts Centre (Fourth Stage), and Kingston at the Broom Factory.

    Get ready for an epic jaunt! The psych-infused energy of Days on Parade is hitting the road, embarking on a thrilling tour across Ontario, Quebec, and the East Coast. Fans of psychedelic rock are in for a seriously mind-bending adventure over the coming weeks.

    The journey kicks off in London, Ontario, where the band opens the festivities on Thursday, June 25th, at Honeydip. From there, the four-piece will rocket eastward, hitting some iconic spots across the region. The tour immediately takes them to Windsor on June 26th at Phog Lounge, followed by Toronto on June 27th at Bovine Sex Club.

    Oshawa-based prog duo Crown Lands are gearing up for a major musical adventure, announcing a sprawling tour schedule across Ontario and Quebec in late 2026 and early 2027. Following the release of their recent album Apocalypse and their successful ranking on various music charts, the band is ready to bring their unique sound to audiences throughout Eastern Canada.

    The journey kicks off in Ontario with an exciting leg accompanied by Dreamland. The tour begins on October 30 at Farm League Brewing in Cambridge, followed by a week of stops across the province. Fans can look forward to seeing them next at the Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa on November 6, and then moving onward through Hamilton’s Bridgeworks on November 12.
