Wargasm signs to Hopeless Records and shares new single Get Down
Wargasm Unleashes Frenetic New Sound with Hopeless Records Debut
The sonic landscape is buzzing with the arrival of Wargasm, a duo known for delivering intensely raw and atmospheric soundscapes. They have just announced a major move, signing to Hopeless Records and sharing their frenetic new single, Get Down.
This latest release marks a significant step for the pair, offering fans a track that perfectly captures their exploration of deep, existential themes. Get Down fuses pulsing, hyperactive electronic beats and effects with distorted guitars, culminating in a huge, anthemic chorus. Through this new material, Wargasm dives headfirst into profound explorations of isolation, mortality, and escapism.
Wargasm’s journey has always been about pushing boundaries. Their previous single, Small World Syndrome, set the stage for this new era. Since releasing their debut album Venom in 2023—which included a notable collaboration with Fred Durst on “Bang Ya Head”—the duo has consistently delivered music that is both heavy and deeply atmospheric.
Their momentum continues through striking collaborations. Wargasm recently joined forces with Pendulum on the single Cannibal, which appeared on Pendulum’s first album in fifteen years, Inertia. Furthermore, they recently teamed up with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor to release the 2024 single 70% Dead, described as a “cry out at a world gone mad.”
As they settle into their new sound under the Hopeless umbrella, Wargasm is gearing up for extensive live performances. The duo will be supporting Scene Queen on a major North American tour spanning September and October.
Fans can catch Wargasm live across numerous cities, including Atlanta, Nashville, Columbus, St Louis, and New York, among others, throughout the autumn months. The schedule is packed with dates across the US, offering opportunities to experience their powerful blend of electronic intensity and guitar-driven angst.
September dates include shows in Atlanta (The Masquerade, Heaven), Nashville (The Basement East), Columbus (Ace Of Cups), Lakewood (The Roxy), McKees Rocks, PA (Roxian Theatre), St Louis, MO (Delmar Hall), Lawrence, KS (Granada Theatre), Houston, TX (Scout Bar), San Antonio, TX (Paper Tiger), and Dallas, TX (The Echo Lounge & Music Hall).
October brings continued momentum with stops in San Diego, CA (House Of Blues), Los Angeles, CA (The Regent Theater), Las Vegas, NV (24 Oxford), Englewood, CO (Gothic Theatre), Chicago, IL (House Of Blues), and numerous other cities, ensuring Wargasm‘s new material is delivered with high-energy impact.
