Faye Webster joins Turnstile for I Care at All Points East 2026
The energy at All Points East in London recently took an unexpected and beautiful turn, blending hardcore intensity with soulful vulnerability. Baltimore-based band Turnstile delivered a set that showcased not only their signature sound but also a rich tapestry of musical history and collaboration.
The night featured a remarkable moment when singer-songwriter Faye Webster joined the band for a performance of ‘I Care’. Webster, who was not initially on the festival lineup, stepped in mid-set, adding a layer of unique texture and emotion to the performance. This appearance coincided perfectly with the release of Turnstile’s new reimagined album, Never Enough: Versions, on which Webster’s reworked version of ‘I Care’ is featured.
The set was packed with musical nods and tributes. Turnstile channeled classic rock history by playing their rendition of The Stone Roses’ ‘I Wanna Be Adored’, a track they had previously debuted live. This cover paid homage to the band’s late bassist Mani, having originally recorded the version for Triple J’s Like A Version series.
The band also embraced broader musical legends, paying tribute to Dolly Parton by performing the duet ‘Islands In The Stream’ with Turnstile’s latest creative project, >. This album is a collaborative feast, featuring contributions from artists like Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, Four Tet, and A.G. Cook, among others, demonstrating the band’s unique, pop-facing take on hardcore.
Turnstile’s journey continues to take them across the globe. Following the London festival, the band is set to head to France for Rock En Seine on August 29th, followed by Lisbon’s MEO Kalorama. Their North American tour is gearing up, kicking off in Seattle next week.
