Zeus Book Ontario Fall Tour supports new album Lost & Found

Zeus Unlocks the Archives: New Album Delves into the Band’s Story

Canadian pop-rock group Zeus has just unveiled their fifth studio album, Lost & Found (The Say Us Archives), setting the stage for a nostalgic journey that pulls listeners back to the very inception of the band. Released on October 9th, this new collection is more than just new music; it is a curated dive into the unreleased material recorded during the creation of their 2010 debut record, Say Us.

The album serves as a fascinating glimpse into the band’s creative beginnings, showcasing individual songwriters finding a collective sound. As the material compiled within the archives didn’t fit the polished picture of their debut, these tracks beautifully fill the gaps of that formative time period, offering an authentic look at how the Zeus sound evolved.

The excitement surrounding the new release was already building, highlighted by the preview single, “Lions Pride.” Mike O’Brien, a key voice for the group, described the track as something that holds a special place in their hearts, generating palpable anticipation for its release.

O’Brien shared that the album functions as a true story of the band’s journey, detailing how separate songwriters converged to forge a unique sonic identity. “These songs don’t end up fitting the picture that became Say Us,” he explained, “but they serve to fill in the gaps in that time period. We hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane as much as we did.”

Fans can now explore the full collection of tracks, which includes titles like Lions Pride, More Than Friends, Kindergarten, and Don’t Block the Sun from Your Eyes, among others. This is a musical roadmap of the creative process, offering an intimate look at the band’s genesis.

To celebrate this release, Zeus is gearing up for an exciting live tour across Ontario next month. The band has mapped out a string of dates where they will be playing shows in major cities, including Windsor, Chatham, Cambridge, London, St. Catharines, and Hamilton throughout October.
