What Netflix is leaving in 2026

The streaming world is constantly in motion, and when Netflix hits the refresh button, it’s time for some big content shake-ups. As November approaches, the platform is making some significant changes, clearing the decks to make room for new arrivals and saying farewell to some beloved, yet aging, series.

The focus this month is heavily on the fairy tale franchise. Fans can prepare for some nostalgic goodbyes as the beloved Shrek trilogy, including Shrek 1, 2, and 3, will be taking their final bow on November 3.

But the farewells aren’t limited to animated classics. Netflix is also shedding several adult dramas and reality series this month, signaling a shift in content focus. Four series are departing the platform, including seasons of Weeds, The End of the Fing World, The Big C, and The Resident.

These departures mean that viewers are looking forward to new content, and the calendar is packed with exciting exits and entrances. For instance, the historical and literary drama Pride & Prejudice is scheduled to leave the platform on November 30, closing out the month with a major farewell.

The content shuffle reveals a busy schedule for streaming enthusiasts. Starting November 4, the series Weeds S1–8 will be gone, followed by The End of the Fing World S1–2 on November 5. Later in the month, viewers will see the end of The Big C S1–4 on November 14, and finally, The Resident S1–6 arriving on November 20.

The November 30th exit for Pride & Prejudice marks a notable closing act for a highly anticipated literary adaptation, clearing the way for whatever new narratives are set to dominate the streaming landscape in the coming season.
