Victoria Monét Unveils the Star-Studded Lineup for Frequency of Love
The anticipation is palpable in the music world as R&B powerhouse Victoria Monét prepares to release her highly anticipated album, Frequency of Love, scheduled for release on October 2nd. More than just a collection of songs, the new project is shaping up to be a vibrant tapestry woven from the talents of some of the industry’s biggest names, promising a truly spectacular listening experience.
Monét kicked off the promotional excitement by revealing the album’s star-studded track list, immediately drawing massive attention to the collaborative spirit behind the project. The project features an incredible array of talent, including R&B titans like SZA, Bruno Mars, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Chlöe, and Lucky Daye. Adding to the warmth of the collection is the special appearance of Monét’s daughter, Hazel, who also makes an appearance on the record.
The excitement surrounding the track list quickly translated into buzz across social media. Fans are already declaring their favorite songs, while peers across the music scene are equally hyped for the release, anticipating a truly classic effort from Monét.
The initial singles have already set a high bar. Tracks like “Let Me” topped the Adult R&B Airplay chart in June, paving the way for other hits like the Kaytranada-produced “Reach Out” and “Juicy,” demonstrating the immediate impact of the album’s sound.
The upcoming tour is set to capitalize on this momentum. Monét is gearing up for the Frequency of Love Tour in October, where she will headline her own trek. The journey will take fans across the country, kicking off in Raleigh, North Carolina, and traveling through major cities including New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and New York City before culminating in San Francisco on December 17th.
This tour connects Monét’s artistic vision with her expansive sound, further emphasizing the depth of the work. For context, Frequency of Love follows her 2023 album, Jaguar II, which achieved solid success, reaching No. 60 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album promises a rich mix of emotional depth and infectious rhythm, featuring tracks such as “You Mean The World To Me” featuring Leon Thomas & Hazel Monét, “Say Dat” with Bryson Tiller, and the collaborative hit “See You In My Dreams” featuring SZA. With such a diverse and talented group contributing to the sound, Frequency of Love is poised to be a major statement in contemporary music.
