A Decade of Wonder: Venus Fest Celebrates 10 Years at Allan Gardens
Toronto is gearing up for a spectacular celebration as Venus Fest marks its 10th anniversary, set to transform the beautiful Allan Gardens into a hub of music, art, and community connection. Running from September 15 to 20, 2026, this milestone edition promises an unforgettable weekend filled with diverse programming for all.
The festival kicks off on Friday night with a vibrant lineup designed to set a high-energy tone. Attendees can look forward to performances from PYNE, LAL, and Prado Monroe, complemented by the unique experience of All-Flowers Mahjong and a lively Night Market presented by Kabuté and Friends of Allan Gardens.
Saturday unfolds a beautifully balanced schedule, offering both free daytime activities and captivating evening performances. The day begins with relaxed, mindful programming, including a restorative sound bath led by Renelyn Quinicot-Bastos at noon, followed by an insightful artist talk by Juliana Huxtable at 1 p.m.
As the afternoon transitions to evening, the festivities continue. Juliana Huxtable joins Donna Come Home and Honeydrip on stage, while the Night Market remains active, ensuring a festive atmosphere throughout the day.
The weekend culminates on Sunday with more free and pay-what-you-can daytime performances, featuring the talents of seth cardinal dodginghorse and Esssena. Beyond the stage, Venus Fest is deeply committed to community engagement, offering a rich array of workshops, community programming, and visual arts curated by Tangled Arts + Disability. Interactive installations by Christina Dovolis will also add unique depth to the experience.
