The anticipation surrounding new music often builds to an explosive climax, and for Greg Freeman’s latest offering, it was a full-throttle concert experience. Hours after announcing his new LP, All Set the Bone, the band delivered a potent live performance at Union Pool on Tuesday (7/21).

Freeman had hinted at an intimate session, promising to play some new songs with the band. The audience seemed completely absorbed, visibly digging through every song, as the sound grew progressively crunchier and heavier-hitting, building upon the momentum of his previous work.
