Toronto Record Labels Announce Annual Market at The Garrison

Get ready to dive into a winter wonderland of sound and creativity. Following the success of its inaugural edition, 17 Southern Ontario record labels are joining forces for the second annual Toronto Label Market, promising a festive gathering packed with unique music, handcrafted goods, and community spirit.

Mark your calendars for December 6th, as this collaborative event will take place at the beautiful Garrison. This isn’t just a market; it’s a vibrant celebration where diverse sounds and unique artistic visions converge under one roof.

A stellar lineup of labels will be bringing their catalogs to the Garrison. Attendees will have the chance to explore everything from newly released singles to sought-after limited-edition releases across labels like Arts & Crafts, Dine Alone, Hand Drawn Dracula Having Fun Records, Idée Fixe Records, Imaginary North, Ishkōdé Records, murderecords, Next Door Records, Outside Music, Paper Bag Records, Royal Mountain, Six Shooter Records, Sonic Unyon, We All Speak in Poems, We Are Busy Bodies, and zBTFD.

Whether you are a dedicated collector or just looking for unique treasures, this market offers an incredible opportunity to support independent artists and discover the next wave of musical talent from across the region.

But the fun doesn’t stop with the music. The event is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Admission is incredibly accessible: you can enter for just $5, or join the cause for free by donating a canned food item or a new pair of socks or warm clothing.

Every entry fee and donation directly benefits the Parkdale Food Bank. Last year’s event proved the impact, raising more than $800 to support those in need.

The market runs from 12 to 5 p.m., offering a perfect window for shoppers to explore the treasures, connect with the artists, and contribute to a meaningful cause. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate local culture while making a tangible difference.
