The Strokes Australia Tour 2027

The raw energy of rock is hitting the Antipodes, as the legendary band The Strokes prepares to bring their acclaimed sound to Australia. Julian Casablancas and Co. are launching a dynamic three-city East Coast tour early next year, supporting their latest studio offering, Reality Awaits.

This Australian jaunt marks a significant milestone for the band, bringing their headline performances to the land down under for the first time since their sold-out run in 2022. The excitement is amplified by the incredible lineup and the high-octane atmosphere they are set to deliver.

The tour kicks off in Brisbane, starting Saturday, February 13, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. From there, the road takes the band south, hitting Melbourne with two dates on February 16 and 17 at the Rod Laver Arena, before culminating in Sydney. The tour wraps up on Saturday, February 20, with the inaugural Sydney Summertime event at Centennial Park.

Adding extra flavor to this epic tour are some highly anticipated special guests. Courtney Barnett and Promiseland, the compelling project of Johann Rashid, are confirmed to join the band for the Brisbane and Melbourne shows. Furthermore, Beck will also be part of the lineup for the Sydney Summertime event, ensuring a truly unforgettable musical experience.

Reality Awaits itself has already made waves, debuting at No. 10 on the ARIA Albums Chart in July. Recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin, the album features catchy singles like “Going Shopping” and “Falling Out of Love,” demonstrating the enduring appeal of the Strokes’ signature style.

Organized and presented by Secret Sounds and Live Nation, the tour emphasizes the vibrant, stripped-down appeal of The Strokes. Fans eager to catch this live experience can secure their tickets for all Australian shows starting Tuesday, September 29 at 1pm. Details and ticket purchases are available through secretsounds.com and livenation.com.au.
