The music world is gearing up for a celebration of incredible female talent, as the inaugural group of honorees for the 2027 She Rocks Awards has been announced. This milestone edition marks the 15th anniversary of an event dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary women who have redefined the music industry through their talent, leadership, innovation, and sheer determination.
The spotlight is shining on some truly remarkable artists, including Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Melissa Manchester, singer/songwriter and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund founding artist Victoria Williams, and touring guitarist Kiki Wong of The Smashing Pumpkins. Their inclusion in this year’s list sets a high bar for recognizing the influential and creative women shaping sound today.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2027, in Anaheim, California, during the NAMM show, marking the 15th anniversary of the She Rocks Awards. Adding to the excitement, two-time Grammy-nominated guitarist and singer/songwriter Samantha Fish will return to serve as a co-host for the evening, bringing her unique perspective to the celebration.
Laura B. Whitmore, founder of the Women’s International Music Network and co-producer of the She Rocks Awards, shared the sentiment behind this milestone. She noted that reaching 15 years is an incredible achievement, emphasizing that this group of honorees perfectly reflects the spirit of the awards—recognizing women whose creativity, influence, and commitment have made a lasting impact across every facet of the music and audio industries.
Since its launch in 2012, the She Rocks Awards have evolved into a premier event, successfully bringing together artists, industry professionals, fans, and media to honor women across the music spectrum. The awards have honored more than 170 notable women throughout history, celebrating pioneers like Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Gaynor, Pat Benatar, Chaka Khan, Linda Perry, and Amy Lee, among many others.
