The Complete Resident Evil Soundtrack
The world of survival horror is gearing up for a dramatic return, as director Zach Cregger steps in to helm a new reboot of the iconic Resident Evil franchise.
This latest cinematic venture dives back into the core of the nightmare, following medical courier Bryan as he navigates a terrifying journey to Raccoon City hospital, fighting desperately against a viral outbreak.
The story is a stark, visceral experience, placing the audience immediately into the fray as Bryan races against time and contagion in a setting defined by claustrophobia and terror.
The film is anchored by an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Austin Abrams alongside Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, Paul Walter Hauser, and Johnno Wilson, promising compelling performances as they grapple with the unfolding disaster.
This reboot marks a significant chapter in the franchise’s history, standing as the eighth film based on the beloved series. It continues a tradition started by Paul W.S. Anderson, following the highly successful films starring Milla Jovovich, and the earlier entry, Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City.
Scheduled for release in cinemas worldwide on September 18, 2026, the film promises to deliver a fresh, unnerving take on the classic horror mythology.
Adding to the atmosphere of the cinematic experience is a distinctive soundtrack, composed by Hays and Ryan Holladay. They bring a unique musical texture to the unfolding horror, a collaboration that echoes their previous work together with director Zach Cregger on Weapons.
The score is rich with mood, featuring numerous tracks that pull the tension tight. Among the many pieces that make up the film’s score are titles like ‘Main Titles Extended’, ‘Skybridge Reprise’, ‘Infection’, and ‘Laboratory’, weaving a tapestry of suspense throughout the narrative.
While the score is largely original to the project, the film does feature a notable inclusion: the track ‘Animal Farm’ by The Kinks, adding an unexpected layer of auditory complexity to the survival horror experience.
