Talk Talk members reunite for Colour’s 40th Anniversary
Forty years after The Colour of Spring changed the landscape of music, a celebratory reunion is set to bring some of rock’s most adventurous minds back together for a night of celebration in London.
Dubbed The Spirit of Talk Talk, this special concert promises to be an electrifying tribute to the band’s evolution from synth-pop pioneers into influential experimental rockers. On September 5th, the O2 Forum Kentish Town will host the gathering, featuring founding keyboardist Simon Brenner alongside former touring members Phil Ramacon and Ian Curnow.
The lineup is stacked with talent spanning decades. Alongside the core Talk Talk members, the night will be enhanced by collaborators such as Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Gale Paridjanian (Turin Brakes), Tim Eisenberg (Sweet Billy Pilgrim), Chris Hampson, and Jacob Brown. The festivities will also welcome guest appearances from figures like Ed Harcourt and Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots), who will be leading opening sets.
