  • Oasis Reveals First Reunion Doc Teaser

One year after the legendary reunion tour kicked off, fans are finally getting an exclusive peek behind the curtain of rock royalty. The story is about to unfold in a film titled Don’t Look Back in Anger, a documentary set to chronicle Liam and Noel Gallagher’s first joint journey in sixteen years.

The teaser trailer for the forthcoming documentary arrived recently, offering tantalizing glimpses into the complex emotional landscape that defined the reunion. It presented a potent mix of reconciliation, recrimination, and, as Liam Gallagher is known to do, beautiful chaos.

The opening moments of the teaser immediately addressed the skepticism that surrounded the improbable 2024 announcement. Noel Gallagher offered a stark reflection, suggesting lingering doubt about the experience: “I just don’t see myself onstage with Liam. I just don’t see it.” This was followed by his younger brother’s more blunt assessment of the band’s fraught history: “The way it finished… unacceptable.”

This dialogue perfectly captures the universal feeling shared by millions of fans worldwide—the complexity of reconciliation, born from years of artistic tension. Amidst this reflection, rehearsal footage gives way to scenes of ecstatic stadium crowds and intimate backstage embraces, painting a picture of the sheer magnitude of the event.

Liam Gallagher, in contrast, offers a succinct mission statement for the journey: “It’s gonna be chaos.” It is an honest portrayal of two towering rock figures navigating an intensely personal and public endeavor.

The documentary itself promises unprecedented access to what became one of the defining musical events of 2025. It follows Oasis’ Live ’25 trek through rehearsals, backstage moments, and, most thrillingly, the brothers’ first joint interviews in more than two decades.

The project is helmed by cinematic talents including Steven Knight, the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders, and directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who have previously worked on celebrated music films like Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.

The filmmakers aim to capture more than just a concert tour. They intend to delve into the profound emotional impact of this global cultural moment and examine what Oasis’s music truly means to generations worldwide. As one filmmaker noted, the reunion story is about unity: “The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation.”

Don’t Look Back in Anger will premiere in select IMAX theaters and cinemas this September before expanding its reach internationally, streaming on Disney+ and domestically via Hulu and Disney+ later this year. It is set to be a must-see cinematic event for anyone interested in the intersection of music, history, and raw human emotion.
