The echoes of 2001 are getting louder. Indie-punk stalwarts Saves The Day are embarking on a significant journey, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their landmark album, Stay What You Are, with a brand new UK tour.
This celebratory tour brings the New Jersey emo icons back to the road, allowing fans to revisit the sound that marked their earliest mainstream breakthrough—a period defined by raw energy and a distinctive indie-punk sensibility.
The music itself is a cornerstone of their legacy. Stay What You Are was more than just an album; it pushed beyond the band’s earlier emo and hardcore roots, solidifying their position at the forefront of the genre.
Now, frontman Chris Conley and the rest of the band are hitting the road to play this celebrated record in full, marking a poignant milestone 25 years after its initial release. The tour kicks off later this year, starting on November 17th in Bristol at Trinity.
The itinerary is packed with iconic stops across the UK, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of alternative music. The band will travel through major cultural hubs, including London’s Electric Brixton, Nottingham’s Palais, and Glasgow’s Slay.
The journey concludes with a major festival appearance at the Loud & Clear Festival in Liverpool on November 21st, offering a grand finale to this anniversary tour. This route ensures that fans get to experience the history of Saves The Day live in diverse and vibrant settings.
