The concept involves Oscar Isaac, Shailene Woodley, and Paul Dano taking on the roles of the frontman Marcus Mumford. The musical foundation for this project comes from Mumford’s chart-topping album Prizefighter. The track “Here” has already found a powerful voice through collaborations, including a guest turn from Chris Stapleton. This song is currently being performed as a duet with opening act Sierra Ferrell during the band’s recent North American tour.
As Mumford prepares for a busy schedule, including an international tour through late November and a massive performance in London’s Hyde Park with the War on Drugs, the focus remains firmly on the future.
