  • LA Priest announces new album co-produced by Boys Noize: hear “Ever No”

LA Priest, known by frontman Sam Eastgate, is gearing up for a fresh wave of sonic exploration with the announcement of his fourth album, Into The Sky. This highly anticipated record is set to drop on August 28th via Domino.

The making of this new work involved a significant creative partnership. Sam Eastgate collaborated with longtime friend Alex Ridha, also known as Boys Noize, who served as co-writer, co-producer, and mixer for the project, bringing an innovative edge to Eastgate’s sound.

Eastgate shared the vision behind the record, emphasizing that this album is intended to be a full sensory experience. “For a long time, I wanted to make stuff for your mind. This one is more for the mind and the body,” he explained. He noted his goal was to create music designed specifically for movement, stating, “I made this record to dance to. I haven’t really done one that you could put on and dance all the way through before.”

The collaboration with Ridha was key to unlocking a new stylistic direction for Eastgate. He cited Ridha’s work in electronic music as the inspiration that allowed him to revisit a style he hadn’t explored in a long time, resulting in a dynamic and compelling musical tapestry.

Into The Sky already has buzz, with the title track—a true banger—having been released earlier this month. Adding to the momentum, the band is currently promoting the new single, “Ever No,” which is described as delightfully slinky and funky.

The tracklist for the album promises a journey through rhythm and atmosphere, featuring songs like Rayon, No Other Voices, Breathe, and the standout “Ever No.” Fans can dive into the sound with existing content:
