Eslabón Armado is hitting the road with their ninth studio album, Nocturno, a sonic journey that keeps the signature regional Mexican sound front and center while boldly exploring new musical landscapes. Released recently via Interscope, the 16-track set doesn’t just offer new tracks; it presents a dynamic blend of traditional sounds updated with contemporary urban influences.
The album features powerful songs like “Ojos de Diabla,” “Corta Venas,” “Siempre, Siempre,” “Nunca He Llorado,” and “Que No Se Apague,” setting an immediate tone for the group’s continued musical evolution. This new chapter is layered with exciting vocal turns from high-profile guests, including Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros, Clave Especial, and Calle 24, injecting fresh energy into the mix.
At the heart of the creative process lies the vision of singer-songwriter Pedro Tovar. He emphasized that while he provided the core musical foundation for the album, he gave his bandmates Brian and Damián full artistic freedom to explore their vision. This collaborative approach resulted in a sound they were incredibly proud of.

Their previous album Desvelado, which featured tracks like “Baila,” topped both Top Latin and Regional Mexican Albums charts, demonstrating their undeniable impact. This legacy was further cemented by Pedro Tovar’s global smash hit with Peso Pluma, “Ella Baila Sola,” which became a multi-platinum sensation across various Billboard charts.
The relationship between Tovar and other stars has often been a source of fascinating music history. While initial collaborations sometimes sparked discussions about credit during the peak ofPeso Pluma’s fame, that dynamic evolved into something more expansive. This mutual respect paved the way for new joint projects, such as their recent collaboration “Amigos con Derechos,” a compelling corrido tumbado track exploring the complexities of a love triangle.
Now, Eslabón Armado is preparing for a massive expansion of their reach with the Amor Nocturno Tour. This 28-date U.S. run kicks off July 24 in Phoenix and wraps up in San Diego, bringing their powerful sound to new audiences. The tour will be filled with high-energy performances, including expected appearances with Peso Pluma at YouTube Theater in L.A. on August 7.
Beyond the U.S., the group is connecting deeply with the Mexican music scene. They have twelve shows lined up across Mexico, including a performance at the Festival Arre in Mexico City where they will share the stage with influential collaborators Gabito Ballesteros, Calle 24, and Clave Especial.
