Swae Lee’s 2027 Australian Same Difference Tour
Get ready, Australia. The celebrated rapper and singer Swae Lee is bringing his sound to the Antipodes with a massive five-date national tour scheduled for January 2027, supporting his highly anticipated debut solo album, Same Difference.
This tour is a celebration of an artist who has carved out a significant niche in the global music scene. Swae Lee’s journey to stardom is marked by some of the most memorable collaborations and chart-topping hits of the last decade, establishing him as a compelling voice within hip-hop.
His success was built early on, emerging alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi in the duo Rae Sremmurd. Their joint success reached a peak in 2016 when their track “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane, dominated the charts, securing a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
As a solo artist, Swae Lee continued to build momentum through high-profile partnerships. His collaboration with French Montana on “Unforgettable” in 2017 propelled him into the top 10, marking an early taste of solo success. Furthermore, his work with Post Malone on “Sunflower” from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse resulted in a massive hit, reaching No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2019.
Beyond these major hits, Swae Lee has cemented his place in the genre through notable songwriting credits, including his contribution to Travis Scott’s charting hit, “Sicko Mode.” These collaborations helped solidify his reputation as one of hip-hop’s most recognizable melodic voices long before his solo material dropped.
Now, as he prepares to launch the next chapter of his music with Same Difference, Swae Lee is taking his international success home. The tour, presented by Live Nation, kicks off in Melbourne on January 6, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey across the continent.
