This incredible event will take place over twelve nights on the Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House, running from November 28 to December 12.

The scale of the celebration is massive. In its fifth year under Live Nation, the series has dramatically increased capacity to accommodate as many as 7,000 people per show, with organizers anticipating over 50,000 attendees across the entire run. It’s not just a concert; it’s an immersive cultural experience.

But the show is bigger than the music. The series is deeply committed to giving back, with all proceeds from official merchandise going directly to Support Act, the Australian music industry’s charity. Fans can further support this vital cause by adding a donation when purchasing tickets throughout November.

The series kicks off on November 28 with veteran Australian rock band Australian Crawl, joined by Boom Crash Opera. The next night, November 29, brings the community singing experience with Pub Choir’s Ultimate PDA, featuring Ben Lee, Miles Phillips, and the Australian Youth Orchestra.

The blockbuster line-up continues into December. Fans can catch Rise Against alongside Dropkick Murphys and Haywire on December 1. Next up is the mesmerizing James Blake, supported by Xmunashe on December 2. The marquee headliner is Wolf Alice on December 4, while the electrifying Dizzee Rascal brings a phenomenal performance on December 5, supported by Example, ArrDee, and Swaglord Savannah.

The series also features a dose of fresh talent, including the dynamic Dylan Gossett on December 6, and the emerging star Suki Waterhouse, launching the Australian leg of her Loveland tour on December 8. The finale will see post-hardcore group The Amity Affliction closing the season on December 12, supported by Thornhill and WAAX.

Beyond the headliners, the schedule is filled with equally compelling acts, including the high-energy performance from DMA’S on December 3, who celebrated it as the biggest show they’ve ever put together. Indie favorites Spacey Jane headline two nights, December 10 and 11, both of which sold out.

This series truly proves that music isn’t just entertainment—it’s a powerful force for community, connection, and compassion. By supporting the artists and the vital work of the music industry through these events, the On The Steps series is creating a legacy of incredible sound and meaningful support for those working behind the scenes.
