The atmosphere of the event is steeped in artistry. Hayden brings a unique perspective to the stage, drawing attention to the profound connection between the music and the narrative. He recently shared insights into his work, detailing how he aimed to capture a specific feeling in his latest recording of “Time Has Been More Kind.”
Hayden explained that channeling the reflective, longing atmosphere of the song required weaving in the magic of local musicians. For this particular track, he enlisted local talent—including Adam Hindle on brushed drums, Miranda Mulholland on fiddles, Matt Kelly on pedal steel, and Ben Whitely on upright bass—to bring the recording to life. It was a true collaboration, creating a sound filled with warmth and nostalgic beauty.
As fans look forward to the concert, keep an eye on Hayden’s recent release, the album The Recent Past, which is currently available on vinyl. The digital version will follow on November 6 through Hardwood Records.
