Music legend Stevie Wonder is hitting the road this fall, embarking on a spectacular international tour to mark the 50th anniversary of his critically acclaimed studio album, Songs in the Key of Life. The journey promises to take fans across continents, celebrating a body of work that continues to resonate with generations.

The tour kicks off on October 13 with a performance at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, U.K., before embarking on a sprawling itinerary that sweeps across Europe. The schedule includes stops in major cities such as Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Hannover, Cologne, Amsterdam, Dublin, London, Manchester, and Glasgow, allowing fans to experience Wonder’s music in a multitude of global settings.

The epic journey continues across the Atlantic, leading into a run of winter shows in the United States. Wonder will take the music to Madison Square Garden in New York on November 19, followed by performances in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Detroit, culminating in a final stop at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on December 19.

Songs in the Key of Life, which was released on September 28, 1976, is more than just an album; it is a landmark achievement. Debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the record was a monumental success, spawning two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles in “I Wish” and “Sir Duke,” and earning the Album of the Year award at the 1977 Grammy Awards. The album features timeless tracks like “Love’s in Need of Love Today” and “Isn’t She Lovely,” with “Pastime Paradise” famously serving as the musical inspiration for Coolio’s 1995 hit, “Gangsta’s Paradise.”

In a reflective message, Wonder shared the powerful enduring relevance of the album, noting that the messages at the heart of the music feel as urgent and necessary today as they did in 1976. He emphasized that songs like “As,” “Love’s in Need of Love Today,” and “Isn’t She Lovely” remain woven into the emotional fabric of people worldwide, reminding them of who they are and where they have been.

This milestone tour offers fans a chance to connect with the legacy of an artist whose work consistently speaks to universal themes of connection and joy. Tickets for this special run of international stops will go on sale, with a presale beginning on Wednesday and general sales opening on Friday. Fans planning their adventure can look forward to experiencing the enduring magic of Songs in the Key of Life on a grand scale across the globe.
