Start Your Best Events Digitally

As someone who has spent years in the world of events, I’ve learned that the best experiences aren’t just things you watch on a screen—they are things you experience in person.

My journey started not with music, but with bringing people together. Early in my career, I worked as a promoter and booking agent, orchestrating the early careers of many artists and helping to build foundational event series. This work taught me a fundamental truth: there is a profound difference between broadcasting content and creating a genuine collective experience.

Lately, I find myself spending much of my time thinking about how we can harness that power. I am constantly grappling with the question of what truly makes people leave their homes and show up with their wallets. I believe that going outside, stepping into a shared space, is a vital portal to new opportunities, connections, and worlds we might never encounter through a digital feed.

Today, the worlds of content creation and physical events are colliding in fascinating ways. I spend my time gathering intelligence—reading newsletters, listening to podcasts, and analyzing trends. This constant intake of insight has led to a realization: the true power often lies in what happens in the hallways, not just on stage.

When communities and audiences meet in person, trust is instantly forged. The energy in a room is palpable, offering a depth of connection that a simple online signal cannot replicate. This is where the real value resides, and it’s time to shift focus from chasing sheer scale to achieving genuine concentration.

For years, the goal of media was simply to chase bigger reach. But the currency of attention is changing. It is no longer about how many people see a message, but how many people willingly spend three hours together. Getting the right people into the same room is far more valuable than buying attention online.

This realization extends beyond business and media. People instinctively want to step inside the worlds they love—their fandoms, their communities, and their favorite cultural moments. The natural desire is to turn those digital worlds into physical realities.

We don’t need more events simply to create more content. What we truly need is better reasons to gather. The future of engagement lies in bridging the gap, taking those incredible digital threads and weaving them into tangible, unforgettable experiences. It is a journey from URL to IRL.
