Small Venues Apply for $10k Live Music Grants
The dream of hosting incredible live music often clashes with the reality of aging infrastructure. But for independent venues across the nation, a lifeline is emerging: the Live Music Society’s Toolbox Grant program is now seeking applications for its 2026 round.
This grant initiative is designed to provide crucial capital directly to independent U.S. venues—those with capacities between 50 and 300 seats—to upgrade their spaces. The goal is simple: to help venues fix practical, day-to-day operational hurdles that can stall live production and diminish the audience experience.

To be considered, venues must demonstrate a history of activity, having operated since January 2023 and hosted a minimum of 30 live music performances annually.
