Slipknot announces biggest stadium tour for 2027

Slipknot Unleashes the (Sic)est Stadium Tour 2027

The heavy machinery of metal is gearing up for a global spectacle. Slipknot has announced their biggest tour to date, the (Sic)est Stadium Tour 2027, a monumental run designed to redefine the stadium experience. This epic journey kicks off with a massive opening at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 3, before heading across the Atlantic to ignite North America.

The tour draws massive attention, featuring Bring Me the Horizon as the opening act for all North American dates. The tour itself is a tribute to the band’s roots, named after “(sic),” the iconic opening track from their 1999 self-titled breakthrough album, setting the stage for a career-spanning setlist and spectacular new staging.

The North American leg is set to hit major cities with high-octane dates, starting July 16 at Washington, D.C.’s Nationals Park, and winding down on August 18 at Phoenix’s Chase Field. This run promises an intense experience for fans who have followed the band’s explosive evolution for three decades.

Adding to the excitement, the tour features an incredible lineup of support acts. Bring Me the Horizon will anchor the experience across the continent, while a rotating cast of guests guarantees sonic mayhem, including heavyweights like Lamb of God, Motionless in White, Lorna Shore, Loathe, Acid Bath, Polyphia, Kublai Khan TX, and Vended. Even the Wembley opener will be bolstered by a legendary contingent, with Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore, and Hatebreed joining the main stage.

This tour builds upon recent creative output, following the release of “Arsenal,” Slipknot’s first new song in three years. The track, which features frontman Corey Taylor’s signature vocal intensity, captures the raw energy of the group. It marks a significant moment for the band, even as the core members have undergone changes since their formation.

Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, Slipknot has cemented their place as one of the most commercially successful metal acts of the last thirty years. Their legacy is undeniable, tracing back to influential albums like Iowa (2001), which was recognized by Rolling Stone as among the greatest metal albums of all time, and The End, So Far (2022), which topped the Billboard 200 and dominated album sales.

The band’s history is steeped in success, with their predecessor, We Are Not Your Kind (2019), achieving a consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With tens of millions of records sold worldwide, Slipknot continues to deliver a powerful, visceral experience that continues to captivate audiences on an epic scale.

Fans ready for the spectacle can secure their tickets: the artist presale begins on September 29, with general tickets going on sale on October 2. The countdown to the (Sic)est Stadium Tour 2027 is officially on.
