As the year winds down and the festive season begins to glow, Toronto country rockers Skydiggers are gearing up for another trip around the sun, promising a dose of seasonal comfort and musical reflection with their annual Christmas tour.

From late November through the second half of December, the band will be marking the Yuletide season with a series of shows across Ontario, along with a couple of additional stops in British Columbia. For the band, these year-end concerts are more than just performances; they are cherished highlights on their calendar—a time to gather with friends, raise voices in song, and celebrate the year that has passed while looking forward to the year ahead.

In reflecting on this festive period, band member Andy Maize shared the sentiment: “As we race towards the end of another trip around the sun, we find ourselves looking for, and looking forward to, certain touchstones that give us comfort and consistency. For us Skydiggers, that means our annual year-end Christmas shows. These shows are highlights on our calendar… A chance to gather with our friends to raise our voices together in song; to celebrate the year that was and to look forward to the year ahead.”

To commemorate this special time, the Skydiggers are releasing their holiday album, known as Good King (previously released under the name Angels in 2014), on vinyl for the very first time. This special pressing includes a new track, a beautifully reimagined cover of Gordon Lightfoot‘s classic “Song for a Winter’s Night.” Fans can purchase the vinyl and stream the new music online.

The band’s upcoming tour itinerary offers fans the chance to experience their music across the country. Key dates include performances in major cities, with stops scheduled across Ontario and British Columbia, including Vancouver, Victoria, Hamilton, Ottawa, Elora, London, Paris, and Toronto.

Catching the Skydiggers live during this season means experiencing a blend of timeless songwriting and seasonal warmth. Fans can find the full list of tour dates and more details on purchasing the holiday music and tickets.
