Skid Row Reveals New Singer and 2027 Tour

After an extensive search and a necessary pause from the road, the powerhouse hard rock outfit Skid Row is back, bringing a fresh voice and an electrifying roadmap for their next adventure. Broadway sensation Justin Sargeant has stepped into the spotlight, taking the reins from Erik Grönwell, who departed the band in 2024 due to health reasons.

Grönwell was following a notable lineage, having previously worked with legendary figures such as ZP Theart, Tony Harnell, Johnny Solinger, and Sebastian Bach. Now, the band welcomes a new frontman whose presence immediately signals a fresh energy and undeniable stage chemistry.

“We were so fortunate to receive so many audition submissions from singers wanting to front the band,” guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo commented. “There are some truly amazing singers out there! But I think that the moment Justin walked in the door we all kind of knew he was the guy. Everything about him; his voice, his attitude, his demeanor, it all just fit. We can’t wait to hit the ground running and get back to doing what we love to do.”

The arrival of Sargeant marks a pivotal moment for the group, promising a dynamic shift for their upcoming performances. He is set to launch the band onto the North American circuit with a slate of tour dates scheduled for 2027.

The journey begins in earnest on March 20th in New Buffalo, MI. The mostly American trek will lead through several major stops, including Kansas City, MO, Welch, MN, and Mashantucket, CT, before hitting key destinations like Atlantic City, NJ, Reno, NV, and Shelton, WA.

Adding some international flair to the itinerary is a special stop in Niagara Falls, ON, on May 29th, where the band will perform at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The tour concludes in French Lick, IN, on September 25th.

Fans can look forward to witnessing Sargeant deliver his vocals alongside the band, particularly on newly released material. The schedule offers a wide variety of venues and high-energy settings, ensuring that the Skid Row experience remains as intense as ever.
