Scam Alert Live ’27 tickets and unique code emails

The anticipation for the upcoming Oasis ‘Live ’27‘ world tour is reaching a fever pitch, but as the excitement builds, the band has issued a crucial warning to their devoted fanbase: stay vigilant against ticket scams.

Ahead of the distribution of unique access codes for the tour, the group cautioned fans that scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, official mailing lists, or ticketing partners. They stressed that any code offered for sale that has not been sent directly by the band is not genuine.

To ensure fans are protected, Oasis confirmed that legitimate communication regarding codes will exclusively come from the official address: oasis@openstageit.com.

The band clarified that any code offered for sale is fraudulent and will not enable anyone to purchase tickets. Furthermore, the distribution of these unique code emails is strictly scheduled between Thursday, September 24, and Sunday, September 27.

For those randomly selected to receive codes, the process is designed to be secure. Successful applicants will receive a personal, non-transferable code directing them exclusively to Ticketmaster. Crucially, the email address used for registration must match the one used for the Ticketmaster account, ensuring authenticity.

Fans are strongly advised against responding to any messages that demand payment, request passwords, or direct them to websites other than the official Ticketmaster site. Registration for the tour tickets has already closed, and Ticketmaster has reiterated that signing up does not guarantee a code or a ticket.

While the immediate focus is on security, this warning comes in the context of past challenges. Fans were heavily targeted by scammers during previous reunion runs, with estimates suggesting that those incidents cost fans more than £2 million.

The logistics of the tour are already massive, with the band adding further dates due to phenomenal demand, including additional Knebworth concerts, shows in Munich, Rome, and Paris. The tour kicks off with five nights at Celtic Park in Glasgow before an 11-show run at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, traversing mainland Europe and the US.

Despite the logistical hurdles and the need for caution, the outlook remains incredibly optimistic. Noel Gallagher has promised that the ‘Live ’27’ shows will be “so much better” than the 2025 tour, insisting the group will be “way more relaxed” and deliver an “unbelievable” performance.
