Brighton rock duo Royal Blood are gearing up for a massive return to the stage, having been announced for a surprise secret set at this weekend’s Reading Festival. Frontman Mike Kerr describes the planned performance as something deliberately intense. “The set planned for Reading is pretty brutal,” Kerr shared. “That’s been the theme for these shows. It’s only 45 minutes long so that allows us to play all the heavier songs that we have. The theme of the show is to make it as relentless as possible.”
