The Spanish superstar is currently embarking on the Latin American leg of her LUX Tour, delivering a performance that transcends mere music. It is a deeply conceptual and meticulously curated experience, blending high-level artistry with profound cultural references. Each concert is an immersive spectacle, featuring intricate choreography and ballet routines alongside an art exhibition that delves into history’s most iconic works, religious iconography, and Catholic and Christian symbols. The song itself hints at the theme, defining a “perla” as a person who is problematic or untrustworthy.

Released in November 2025, LUX made history on the Billboard charts by achieving simultaneous No. 1 debuts across five different categories: Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Pop Albums, Classical Albums, Classical Crossover Albums, and World Albums. The tour kicked off its journey in Lyon, France, on March 16th, and has since graced major cities including Paris, London, Madrid, and Barcelona. As the tour progressed, Rosalía welcomed a host of celebrity guests into her confessional, including figures like Lola Young, Aitana, and Cara Delevingne, sharing personal anecdotes that added an extra layer of intrigue to the artistic display.
After successfully concluding the Latin American run, the tour adjusted its schedule, rescheduling the U.S. leg. While the initial plans for the U.S. leg were set for Miami, the “Motomami” singer made her debut performance in Boston on June 11th. This extensive global journey has seen the tour complete 10 of the planned 13 stops in North America, further cementing its status as a truly global event that mixes music, art, and celebrity intimacy.
