Rolling Stones Foreign Tongues Bonus Tracks
Rolling Stones Unveil Deluxe Edition of Foreign Tongues with Exclusive Bonus Tracks
The Rolling Stones are adding some seriously juicy material to their catalog, extending the life of the acclaimed album Foreign Tongues with a deluxe edition titled Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips. This expanded collection, packed with five bonus recordings, is set to arrive on November 27 via Capitol Records, offering fans a deeper dive into the creative energy behind the original work.
The new deluxe edition introduces five recordings captured during the sessions surrounding Foreign Tongues. These exclusive tracks include the groovy collaboration “Who You Callin’ Crazy,” which features jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine, and the intimate duet “Bad Luck Hideaway,” a standout moment between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
Beyond these standout features, the Loose Lips collection also features tracks like “Where There’s a Will,” “Human Tide,” and “She Still Comes Around,” fleshing out the sonic landscape of the album with compelling new material. The deluxe package is available digitally, as a standalone vinyl release, and in a convenient two-CD configuration. For those who prefer vinyl, the package includes the five new recordings on heavyweight red vinyl, accompanied by the original Foreign Tongues album on CD.
The original album itself was a triumph, produced by Andrew Watt and recorded in less than a month at London’s Metropolis Studios. It boasts an incredibly eclectic guest list, featuring major figures like Paul McCartney, who also contributed to the Stones’ 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, alongside legends such as Steve Winwood and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
The creative process surrounding Foreign Tongues extended beyond the studio walls, adding another layer of rock and roll flair. In a rare moment, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood staged an impromptu three-song performance at a London listening party for the album on July 8, 2026. Backed by Stones touring keyboardist Matt Clifford, the duo delivered stripped-down versions of classic anthems like “Dead Flowers” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” sharing the stage with the new LP’s track “Ringing Hollow.” While Keith Richards was absent from the performance, the spontaneous session remains a memorable highlight of the album’s journey.
