Roger Waters and Harry’s Pink Floyd live legacy tour 2027

The golden era of Pink Floyd is getting a live revival, and it’s being spearheaded by a father-son collaboration that promises an immersive journey back to the psychedelic peak of the band’s creativity. Roger Waters and his son Harry have unveiled details for Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show, an extensive touring production celebrating the iconic 1971-1979 period.

This isn’t just a concert; it’s a mission to authentically recreate the original recordings, drawing deep from masterpieces like The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. The goal is to bring those legendary albums to life with precision, aiming to reproduce the sound as close to note-for-note as possible.

In a fascinating setup, Roger Waters is steering the vision, while Harry takes the reins as musical director. Harry commands a 10-piece band, handling the instrumental and vocal duties on the B3 organ, piano, and lead vocals. While Roger won’t be performing on stage, Harry is the driving force behind the sonic recreation.

The visual experience will be equally grand. The stage production, developed by Roger’s team, will incorporate imagery inspired by Pink Floyd’s original visual work, displayed across high-definition LED screens, creating an environment worthy of the classic era.

The journey for fans will span continents. The extensive tour is set to kick off on February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia, and will ultimately visit over 100 cities across North America and Europe.

The collaborative process itself is a story of musical lineage and personal history. Harry, who has a deep connection to his father’s work—having played with Pink Floyd tribute acts like Brit Floyd—embarked on this project after a period of personal reflection. It’s worth noting that Harry had previously explored opportunities to contribute his voice, ultimately selecting Canadian-born, Nashville-based vocalist Clifton David Broadbridge, who impressed him during a rigorous audition process.

The excitement surrounding the project is palpable. Roger Waters shared his enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of letting audiences experience these songs live again. “These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years, and I’m excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again,” he noted.

Harry echoed this sentiment, describing the collaboration as an honor. “I fell in love with the music immediately,” he said, reflecting on the immediate impact of his father’s work on him. “Collaborating with Dad on this new production is such an honor, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to bring this music to fans old and new, around the world.”

The tour schedule is ambitious, stretching from early 2027 through late 2027, offering a plethora of dates across the US and Europe, ensuring that this tribute to the legendary band reaches a global audience.

The ‘Legacy’ tour is more than just a retrospective; it is a deeply personal and meticulously planned effort to honor a pivotal chapter in rock history, set to unfold across the globe in 2027.
