Sublime’s Reef Madness Cruise Sets Sail This November

Alt-rock legends Sublime are hitting the high seas this November, trading their tour buses for an epic celebration aboard the Norwegian Jewel. The Long Beach icons are launching the Reef Madness Cruise, a four-night voyage from Miami to the stunning Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, scheduled for November 15th through 19th. Prepare yourselves, because this excursion promises to be one of the year’s most unique live music experiences, perfectly blending festival energy, tropical escape, and fan convention.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect for a celebratory trip. Sublime has spent time cementing their legacy, dropping their first studio album in thirty years, Until the Sun Explodes, and achieving massive commercial success with their latest releases. With Jakob Nowell steering the band as frontman/guitarist, joined by founding members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, the group remains a monumental draw, currently enjoying an acclaimed run of North American headlining dates. As Gaugh puts it, the crew is ready to wrap up the year with a vacation style show on the water.

The Reef Madness Cruise isn’t just a vacation; it’s a tribute to the band’s enduring achievements and a vibrant look toward their future. The itinerary is packed with unique moments, including two exclusive poolside performances designed to celebrate Sublime’s landmark 30th anniversary. Fans will get a rare opportunity to experience both sides of the group’s legacy in one weekend. These special sets will feature a commemoration of the self-titled album, which earned a Diamond certification from the RIAA, alongside a greatest hits show packed with classics like Santeria, What I Got, and Wrong Way, showcasing how Sublime defined an era of punk, reggae, ska, and hip-hop.

But this cruise is anything but a solo performance. The party extends far beyond the band, as the vessel becomes a melting pot of musical history. The lineup stretches across a rich tapestry of genres, bringing together artists from reggae, alternative, hip-hop, Americana, and Southern rock. Boarding passengers will be treated to performances by an incredible roster including SOJA, Yelawolf, The Elovaters, Common Kings, Fortunate Youth, DENM, Amigo the Devil, G. Love, Long Beach Dub Allstars, The Altons, honestav, Cisco Adler, Codefendants, Wheeland Brothers, and DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill.

The energy onboard is electric, fueled by dozens of additional artists, DJs, personalities, and tattoo artists who keep the Norwegian Jewel buzzing from morning till night. Adding to the unique atmosphere is artist Opie Ortiz, who shares a deep connection with Sublime’s history, having created Bradley Nowell’s legendary upper back tattoo for the cover of Sublime and other iconic artwork.

The experience truly encapsulates the laid-back spirit that has always defined Sublime—a celebration where the music blurs genre lines, and the community comes together. The cruise provides an unparalleled environment for fans to relax by the pool, enjoy the spa, hit the casino, and soak up the atmosphere while exploring the beautiful Bahamian waters.

When the ship docks at Great Stirrup Cay, passengers can trade onboard energy for tranquility on white sand beaches, snorkeling in turquoise waters, or enjoying seaside barbecues. This balance of high-energy music and serene tropical beauty makes Reef Madness an unforgettable journey. Thirty years after Sublime’s emergence, this cruise offers fans a chance to celebrate their monumental legacy in an environment unlike any other. Don’t wait—tickets are moving fast for this incredible celebration!
