The desert rockers Queens of the Stone Age are gearing up for a massive global adventure, following the critical success of their latest offering. Having just released their ninth studio album, Perfecth, the band is set to hit the road across Europe next summer with a sprawling new tour.

This forthcoming journey is the perfect victory lap, taking the band from the American stage to a continent brimming with rock history. Before the European leg, the band previously announced the North American phase of the Perfecth World Tour, kicking off in San Diego on May 1st and sweeping through major cities including Inglewood, Oakland, Sacramento, Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake City. They were supported by acts like Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp for this initial run.

Now, the focus shifts to Europe, where the journey promises an even more varied itinerary. The band has unveiled their European tour dates via social media, setting the stage for a summer packed with sun-drenched rock. The European leg will feature a supporting act from Zep, adding another layer of musical flavor to the experience.

The tour begins in Germany, starting with a stop in Hannover on June 13th. From there, the group will travel through France, playing in Bordeaux, and then make a dramatic sweep through Spain, hitting Bilbao, Sevilla, and Valencia. The itinerary continues by stepping into iconic festival territory at the Festival de Nîmes, before crossing over into Italy, making stops in Pordenone, Munich, and finally rounding out the tour in Croatia with a show in Pula on June 30th.

What makes this European route particularly exciting is the timing. The schedule includes stops in major arenas and festival grounds, creating a dynamic schedule that allows for some breathing room. This arrangement could even open the door for the band to consider a performance at Glastonbury Festival, potentially on June 25th or 26th, though no artists have yet been confirmed for the 2027 edition.

Even with these epic destinations lined up, the band remains true to their roots. Frontman Josh Homme has expressed a clear preference for intimacy over scale, stating that he doesn’t want the outfit to play stadiums, preferring smaller venues for a few nights to ensure a more personal connection with the audience.

Despite this preference, with the momentum built by the acclaimed Perfecth album, the schedule is shaping up to be incredibly busy for QOTSA. Fans will have to mark their calendars, as tickets for the 2027 European tour will go on sale starting November 6th at 10am local time.
