The stage is set for a monumental return, as Queens of the Stone Age prepare to launch into a global tour in support of their highly anticipated new Matador album, Perfecth. Following a summer filled with stadium performances, the band is gearing up for a journey that spans continents, promising an experience as deep and reflective as the music itself.

The new era of QOTSA is marked by a palpable shift in tone. Before the release of Perfecth, the band had traded their signature fist-pumping anthems and braggadocio for a sound steeped in introspection and humility. This artistic evolution resonated strongly with critics, who noted how the album offers a sense of quiet contemplation, making the listener feel like an eavesdropper on a deeply personal journey.

This shift was perfectly highlighted ahead of the album’s release, when Josh Homme and the band gave a live debut of the track “Where the Goth Girls At?” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The performance captured the spirit of Homme’s creative process, drawing audiences into the emotional landscape of the music.

As the anticipation builds, the promotion has been layered with unique experiences. Fans can now celebrate the album with exclusive memorabilia and a highly limited Perfecth picture disc, available at select retailers as part of special events dubbed HalloQueen.

But the celebration doesn’t stop there. The tour itinerary is a dizzying spectacle, weaving together iconic venues and exotic locations. The headlining dates kick off in May with massive shows at Viejas Arena in San Diego, running through to the TD Garden in Boston.

The global journey begins in earnest with a whirlwind leg that takes the band through international hotspots. The tour kicks off in Reykjavik, Iceland, on October 24th, before jetting off to Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, playing through December 20th in Auckland.

Following this global sweep, the band continues their epic run through the winter, hitting major cities across Australia, including Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle, before finally settling in for the US leg of the tour in the spring.

The tour culminates with dates in the United States, with performances scheduled from May 1st in San Diego and Inglewood, through to the final dates in Boston.

The itinerary is further spiced with major festival appearances. In the spring, QOTSA will team up with Interpol for a major performance in Mexico City, and they are set to participate in all three editions of Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires, Santiago, and São Paulo, offering an incredible blend of rock and global cultural immersion.

The tour schedule is packed with high-profile dates, demonstrating the band’s commitment to bringing their unique sound to audiences everywhere, from the bustling venues of Asia to the iconic stages of North America. It is a tour that promises not just concerts, but a collective experience.
