Beyond the concert dates, the buzz surrounding Perfecth has been immense. The album garnered a glowing four-star review from NME, where it was celebrated as the band’s “most intimate and adventurous work yet.”
Frontman Josh Homme reflected on the journey of the band, noting how the album marked a pivotal shift. In an interview, Homme discussed the intensity of their recent work, referring to the period as the band’s third act, a time spent evolving beyond traditional rock molds and embracing a more raw, adventurous sound.
He spoke about the process of creation, emphasizing that the experience of the music is about forward motion. “I think we’re going to do something that’s beyond what we’ve ever done before,” Homme explained, reflecting on the theatrical elements and the new direction the band has taken.
The upcoming tour feels like a chance to continue that forward momentum. As the band prepares for the European run, the anticipation is palpable, promising a set of performances that will be as intense and rewarding as the music itself.
