Pulp Encore documentary trailer in theaters September
The legendary Britpop band Pulp is gearing up for a major cinematic event, bringing their chaotic energy and iconic moments to the big screen with the new documentary and concert film, Pulp: What Do You Do For an Encore?. Directed by Garth Jennings, known for his work on classics like Sing, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the film promises a deep dive into the band’s history, featuring exclusive footage and untold stories.
This isn’t just another retrospective; it’s an invitation behind the curtain. The film boasts incredible material drawn from Pulp’s surprise Glastonbury performance, the tour supporting their acclaimed album More, and much-needed archival footage, new interviews, and a generous dose of insight into the creative process that birthed their sound.
To maximize the impact of this retrospective, the film will debut with a carefully curated release strategy. The world will get to experience these special screenings as “one night only” events across different territories: September 18 in the UK, September 23 in Canada, and September 24 in the US. Adding to this sonic celebration, Pulp is also releasing their first-ever live album. Fans can preorder the official release on blue vinyl starting August 28.
