Get ready for a sonic explosion, because Primavera Sound Barcelona is gearing up for its 25th edition with a lineup that promises to be dizzyingly eclectic. Spanning three days in June at the Parc del Fòrum, this massive oceanside festival is set to feature 151 artists and bands, offering a deep dive into the world of music that pushes boundaries and celebrates diverse talent.

The headliners alone signal a truly global gathering. The bill includes heavyweights like Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, Turnstile, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, and Bad Gyal, alongside names like Lola Young, ADÉLA, Caroline Polachek, Prospa, and Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi. This is a masterclass in musical juxtaposition, blending indie rock and alternative sounds with electronic titans and global pop sensations.

The festival isn’t just a music marathon; it’s a statement. There’s a clear commitment to representation, with women equally represented across the stage. Doechii is set to make her Spanish festival debut, while legendary acts like Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers return to the event for a highly anticipated performance.

The programming extends beyond the main stages. The festival will also host a free opening day on June 2nd, and the celebration won’t end there. On June 6th, the event culminates with a massive electronic music closing night featuring titans like Richie Hawtin, Four Tet, and Dixon, who will deliver eight hours of alternating sets.

Adding a unique layer to the experience is the inclusion of special performances. FKA twigs will be presenting a brand new show, and ANOHNI will offer a special set featuring tracks from their mentor, Lou Reed. Meanwhile, the festival brings back favorites, including Bradford Cox, who will perform Atlas Sound material, alongside a trove of other beloved acts such as Pavement, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Underworld, and the instrumental rock duo Don Caballero, reuniting with guitarist Ian Williams.

For industry professionals, the event is equally significant. Primavera Pro, the festival’s showcase and conference program, will run concurrently from June 2-5 at DHub, providing an unparalleled opportunity for networking and discovering emerging talent. Primavera Sound Barcelona promises to be an unforgettable celebration of sound, creativity, and community.
