Americana Trio Preeper Rhaye MacKay Embark on Canadian Tour for Sophomore Album

The Americana trio Preeper Rhaye MacKay—comprising singer-songwriter Jessica Rhaye, guitarist Bill Preeper, and multi-instrumentalist Sandy MacKay—is gearing up for a major musical endeavor. They have officially announced the forthcoming release of their sophomore album, Blackberry Lane, promising fans a new chapter in their distinctive sound.

To celebrate this exciting new release, the band is hitting the road with a comprehensive Canadian tour scheduled for this fall. The journey will take them through thirteen cities across four provinces, offering audiences a chance to experience the rich harmonies and storytelling that define their music live.

The tour kicks off promptly, starting September 25th in Saint John, New Brunswick, where they will perform at the BMO Studio Theatre. From there, the group embarks on a delightful cross-country adventure, bringing their sound to the East Coast and beyond.

The itinerary is packed with stops across the region. Fans can catch them in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on October 8th at the Carleton, followed by Moncton, New Brunswick, on October 9th at Empress Theatre. The journey continues into Fredericton, New Brunswick, on October 10th at Charlotte Street Arts Centre.

As the tour moves into November, the band transitions into Ontario and Quebec. They will begin their run in London, Ontario, on November 1st at Aeolian Hall. Subsequent dates include Guelph, Ontario, on November 4th at Silence, and Toronto, Ontario, on November 5th at Burdock Music Hall. They will also bring the music to Ottawa, Ontario, on November 7th at Red Bird.

The Canadian adventure continues with stops in Quebec, including a performance at Motel Chelsea on November 6th, and appearances at the Hudson Creative Hub in November 8th. The tour culminates in Montreal, Quebec, on November 10th at P’tit Ours.

To complete the circuit, the trio heads further west and south. They will perform at the Second Wind Music Centre in Florenceville, New Brunswick, on November 12th, and finally wrap up their Canadian run in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, on November 13th at Drewhaven Cafe.
