Pitch Music & Arts Returns for 10th Anniversary 2027
Get ready to hit the right note. In 2027, the renowned Pitch Music & Arts festival is marking a massive milestone, returning to the rugged foothills of Gariwerd (the Grampians) in Victoria, Australia, for its tenth edition.
Organized by the Untitled Group, this electronic and arts festival is not just a gathering of music; it’s a celebration of community and creativity that has continuously evolved. To kick off the excitement, the organizers released a campaign that framed the event as a time capsule, cutting through archival footage from past festivals while teasing “boundary-pushing surprises” for the upcoming milestone edition.
Filippo Palermo, co-founder and managing partner of Untitled Group, described the anniversary as a deeply meaningful achievement. “Reaching our tenth edition is an incredibly meaningful milestone for us,” he stated. “Pitch began with a clear vision for bringing music, art and community together, and it has grown and evolved year after year, shaped just as much by the people who return as the festival itself.”
The 2027 festival promises an immersive experience across three custom-built stages designed to inspire. These include the brutalist-inspired Pitch One, the Funktion-One-equipped Resident Advisor Stage, and the dual-level Pitch Black, which draws inspiration from Berlin’s underground clubs and historic amphitheaters.
Beyond the main stages, the festival landscape will offer unique spaces for every mood. The Rock Pool, introduced in 2026 as a sanctuary for cooling off, will return alongside the Pitch Pavilion, providing dedicated areas for ambient sets and essential wellbeing programming. Adding to the artistic depth, Anna Nalpantidis is back for a second year as the arts curator.
While the lineup remains under wraps, the festival’s focus on boundary-pushing art and music is exactly what the Australian festival sector needs right now. Amid a period of cancellations and softening ticket sales, Pitch has stood out as a beacon. It is recognized as one of only a handful of Australian-owned festivals to appear on global fan-voted rankings, cementing its status as a major cultural event.
Fans can secure their spot for the milestone event by choosing from two, three, or four-day passes, with presale registration now open. Mark your calendars for March 5-9, 2027, in the Grampians.
