Phoebe Bridgers & older men surprise Fallon this week

Phoebe Bridgers continues to craft an intimate soundscape, recently sharing moments of surprise and raw acoustic brilliance that have captivated audiences. Following a notable television appearance, she returned to The Tonight Show to deliver her new single “Lost Boys,” demonstrating both artistic range and a willingness to experiment with performance settings.

This time around, the setlist offered a refreshing shift. Instead of a solo delivery, Bridgers embraced an acoustic arrangement for “Lost Boys,” recalling the intimate vibes she explored during her recent Madison Square Garden show. She was accompanied by a newer group of musicians, including cult figure and visual artist Dan Reeder and acoustic guitarist David Grier, lending a rich texture to the performance.

Beyond the stage, Bridgers also made sure her new work found an auditory home on streaming platforms, releasing the acoustic version of “Lost Boys” digitally for listeners to enjoy.

The momentum continues with new musical releases. Her forthcoming album Lost Weekend is slated for release on August 14, available on various formats including vinyl, cassette, and CD.

Looking ahead, Bridgers is gearing up for a significant run of performances with her “The Lost Tour”. This phone-free tour kicks off in September and includes major stops across the country, starting with Brooklyn shows at the Barclays Center on September 24, 25, and 26.

This tour promises to be an expansive journey, taking fans to cities like Indianapolis, Chicago, Boston, Nashville, and Los Angeles before hitting international spots in Dublin, Manchester, and Stockholm. The itinerary is packed, featuring dates across North America and Europe from September through December 2026.

The creative sphere extends beyond Bridgers herself. Collaborator Dan Reeder, along with his daughter and partner Peggy, is also embarking on a joint 2027 North American tour, which will begin with a stop at Town Hall in New York on February 19.
