Get ready to crank up the volume, because the road to festival glory is about to get seriously loud. The first wave of names for the 2027 Slam Dunk Festival have landed, promising a weekend packed with nostalgia, heavy riffs, and pure rock energy.
The stage is set for the event to return to its iconic locations in Hatfield and Leeds. Fans can expect the action to kick off at Leeds Temple Newsam on Saturday, May 29th, before wrapping up at Hatfield Park on Sunday, May 30th.
Leading this electrifying lineup are three titans of the scene: Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, and Killswitch Engage. These acts aren’t just playing a festival; they are celebrating rock history. Bowling For Soup is returning for their first Slam Dunk set since 2023, marking a milestone that includes celebrating 25 years since their breakthrough album, Drunk Enough To Dance.
Simple Plan joins the fray, also marking a significant anniversary as they celebrate 25 years since the release of their debut album, No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls.
Killswitch Engage is also making a major appearance, following the release of their album This Consequence in 2025. The anticipation is palpable, especially with the legacy of artists like Jesse Leach reflecting on their career.
Beyond the headliners, the supporting bill is stacked with bands that keep the energy high and the genre deep. The line-up features returning acts like Reel Big Fish, who are reuniting for a UK-exclusive show after a hiatus, alongside a powerhouse collection of names including Less Than Jake, The Interrupters, Grade 2, Beartooth, Wage War, and The Amity Affliction.
The remaining roster is filled with formidable acts such as ERRA, Melrose Avenue, From Ashes To New, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, The Maine, Trophy Eyes, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, and Mouth Culture, ensuring there is something for every rock enthusiast.
