Ogbert the Stapler Nerd
The emo scene has a new address, and it comes straight from the Garden State. Ogbert The Nerd, the proudly self-proclaimed only emo band hailing from New Jersey, has returned to the spotlight with fresh, raw material that proves the noise is still loud.
Following the buzz surrounding their surprise 2024 album, What You Want, the band has finally delivered new music, and the fresh offering is no slouch. They have released their latest single, “Stapler,” marking their first new track in some time.
“Stapler” immediately injects that signature angst and energy fans expect, confirming that Ogbert The Nerd remains a formidable force in the scene. It’s a powerful reminder that even after a surprise release, the creative engine keeps running hot.
The track is a perfect example of how a band can harness their unique sound to connect with an audience. It doesn’t just fill space; it delivers a punch, cementing the band’s place as a relevant voice in the world of emo music.
