The legendary reunion of Oasis is back on the road, with the band confirming their Live ‘27 tour dates, setting the stage for what promises to be another colossal run for the Britpop icons.
The announcement officially confirmed 38 shows kicking off next May, marking a significant step in the ongoing saga of the Gallagher brothers and their enduring musical legacy. This major undertaking follows the success of the recent Live ‘25 tour, which was lauded by critics as a supersonic reunion for a new generation.
Before the full tour details were released, the atmosphere was already charged. It came shortly after the release of their new documentary, Don’t Look Back In Anger, which provided a deep dive into the healing and passion behind the reunion, further fueling the public’s fascination with the band’s history.
But how did the decision to hit the road for another tour come about? When pressed on the timing, Noel Gallagher offered an insider’s look at the genesis of the plan. He revealed that the idea for another tour was crystallized after the second Wembley show in July 2025. It was an organic decision, born from momentum, where the journey through Cardiff and Manchester eventually led to the wider ambitions of the Live ‘27 itinerary.
“Nobody really knew what was going to happen or how it was going to go,” Gallagher explained, sharing that the path they took led them to decide, “Well, you know?” and set the course for the wider European and North American adventure.
The tour route is ambitious, spanning continents and iconic venues. It involves five nights in Glasgow’s Celtic Park, followed by eleven massive gigs at The Etihad in Manchester, and further stops across Europe, including shows in Boston and Las Vegas, as well as stops at Slane Castle in Ireland and Knebworth.
While the focus is firmly on the music, the logistics of getting tickets have been a source of much discussion. Following the chaotic experience of the previous tour, Oasis are adopting a more controlled on-sale model for the Live ‘27 shows, requiring fans to register before a specific window opens.
Those interested in securing a spot must register before the deadline to access the on-sale window, which will take place across the UK over the weekend of September 25th, 26th, and 27th. Standard ticket prices are set between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees.
Despite the massive anticipation, the band remained firm on one point: there would be no new music for the Live ‘27 run. Noel Gallagher reiterated that the focus would remain on delivering the classic experience rather than chasing further studio releases, a sentiment echoed by Liam Gallagher regarding the pressure of fan expectations.
