Metropolitan Police were granted authority by the Crown Prosecution Service to charge him with two counts of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism, and one charge of exposure. These alleged incidents are reported to have taken place between 2007 and 2016, involving five women.
The investigation itself began in 2025, leading to the arrest of the man, who was then in his 40s. The Crown Prosecution Service stated that they have established sufficient evidence to proceed to court, concluding that it is in the public interest to bring the case forward.
In response to the charges, Clarke has not yet made a public statement. He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
