New Radicals release their first new album since 1998
After nearly three decades of relative silence, the New Radicals have finally dusted off their songwriting tools and released their first original song in 28 years. This latest offering, “One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)“, serves as a soundtrack for the romantic comedy film bearing the same title, demonstrating that the band remains a vibrant force in the music world.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. In a recent interview, frontman Gregg Alexander hinted that this milestone is just the opening chapter in a much larger musical story. He revealed that there are even more tracks waiting in the wings for the band to share with their listeners.
Anticipation is building for a follow-up piece of their catalog. Alexander confirmed that a new song, designed to build upon the success of their 1998 hit, “Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed Too“, is currently in development. This upcoming track is set to be titled “Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed TWO“.
The news signals that New Radicals is ready to expand their artistic vision, promising fans a deeper dive into their sound and a fresh continuation of their acclaimed work.
