Mighty Hoopla 10th Anniversary huge 2027 line-up
Ten years ago, Mighty Hoopla burst onto the scene as a vibrant celebration of queer joy, freedom, acceptance, and the sheer power of music. Now, as the festival prepares for its tenth anniversary, the organizers promise a line-up that will redefine celebration and spectacle, promising to be the biggest yet.
Set to return to Brockwell Park in London next summer, the 2027 edition of Mighty Hoopla is gearing up to be an unforgettable event. The festival aims to honour the decade of community and creativity it has fostered, promising an experience that feels as joyous and expansive as the music it features.
The promised line-up is already sparking excitement, featuring a constellation of global pop superstars. Global music titan Robyn will headline on the opening night, followed by Kelis. The excitement continues with the return of The Pussycat Dolls, who will make their first-ever UK festival appearance, supported by a set from Bebe Rexha.
The celebration will run across Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6, delivering two full days of high-energy performances. Beyond the main stages, the festival will feature dedicated areas celebrating different facets of music and culture. Queertopia will be dedicated to showcasing the next generation of exciting LGBTQ+ talent, featuring artists like Tom Rasmussen, Empress Of, and Tsatamis. Meanwhile, The Bump stage will be the hub for dancefloor culture, bringing together DJs and celebrating the rhythm of the dance.
The bill is already packed with talent, including other familiar faces like FLO, Nicola Roberts, Eve, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jordin Sparks, Alcazar, and B*Witched. This list is just the beginning, with more incredible names set to be announced soon for the 2027 edition.
The spirit behind Mighty Hoopla remains rooted in its mission. Co-founder Glyn Fussell reflected on the journey, noting that the past ten years have been a privilege, creating a space where people can celebrate life in a world that often feels hostile. “We won’t stop creating this beautiful space for you all to come and play,” he said.
Co-founder Jamie Tagg expressed sheer delight over the festival’s growth. “It’s wild to think that ten years ago, no one thought this festival was a good idea. Now we have some of the biggest names in music wanting to perform on our stages. Having Robyn and The Pussycat Dolls headline is a genuine honour,” Tagg added, emphasizing the incredible evolution of the festival.
The anticipation is building for the 2027 milestone.
