The grand finale of Tomorrowland’s opening day wasn’t just a set; it was a musical surprise that sent ripples through the festival grounds. Dutch DJ Martin Garrix delivered an unforgettable moment by debuting a brand-new collaboration with legends U2.
During his headlining performance on Friday, July 17th, in Boom, Belgium, Garrix introduced fans to “Fireflies.” The unexpected pairing immediately captured the energy of the massive festival and transformed the atmosphere.
The collaboration wasn’t just a simple acoustic session; it was a full-blown musical exchange. For the debut performance, U2 guitarist The Edge joined Garrix onstage, contributing to the track with Bono’s vocals woven into the sound.
