The rhythm of the city is about to hit a new crescendo. LCD Soundsystem is gearing up for another spectacular run, continuing their celebrated annual New York residency and proving that the magic of live music is timeless. Led by James Murphy, the band is bringing their signature sound to the city across a sprawling series of shows in late 2026 and early 2027.

This year’s residency isn’t just a series of concerts; it’s a milestone celebration. The run spans multiple venues, mixing high-energy performances across Queens and Brooklyn, culminating in a landmark moment at Brooklyn Steel. The tradition began back in 2017 with Brooklyn Steel, and this year marks a momentous occasion as the Nov. 30 performance will celebrate the band’s 100th show in the residency.

The schedule is meticulously planned, offering fans an unforgettable journey. The residency kicks off in Queens, with four dates at the Knockdown Center from November 19 through 22. The residency then shifts back to Brooklyn Steel for four nights, running from November 30 through December 3. To cap off the residency, the band returns to the Knockdown Center for another four nights, from December 10 through 13, ensuring that the energy remains high until the very end.

Beyond the main set, the experience is enhanced with rotating live openers and electrifying afterparties featuring special guest DJ sets, promising an immersive experience for every attendee. Fans can secure their tickets, which go on sale to the general public on October 9, with these exclusive events continuing through the end of the year.

The residency is more than just a concert series; it’s a statement of philanthropy. LCD Soundsystem is dedicating a portion of the excitement to charity, committing 100 percent of the ticket sale proceeds from the special November 30 show to a charity yet to be announced. This commitment underscores the band’s deep connection to their community and the music they create.

The journey doesn’t end there. Following the residency, the band is setting their sights on further adventures. They will cap the year with a visit to Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado, on December 30th and 31st, followed by a trip to Aspen in January. Looking ahead, LCD Soundsystem is also preparing for their 2027 tour, including two August dates in Rome, where they will share the stage with Harry Styles, whose own new LP, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally, was heavily inspired by the band’s work.

While the band remains somewhat private about details concerning their next major album, there is exciting news bubbling up from the extended universe. Guitarist Al Doyle has released new material, including the track Hard Times in America, available now via DFA Records, which serves as a preview for his upcoming solo debut, Hollywood Saviour.

Mark your calendars for the dates. The 2026 residency is set to deliver a powerful, nostalgic, and deeply engaging experience for everyone who tunes in.
