KISS Reliving the Final Tour in New Documentary

Even as the final curtain falls on a legendary rock act, the spectacle doesn’t end—it simply shifts focus. The legacy of KISS is not fading; it is being meticulously documented, packaged, and celebrated, proving that the energy and artistry of the band are far from over.

The rock veterans have launched KISS: End of the Road, a new two-part documentary that pulls back the velvet curtain on the band’s climactic final journey. This cinematic tribute chronicles the final leg of the world tour, culminating in the iconic December 2023 farewell performances that roared to life at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Directed by DJ Viola and produced by Leslie Greif, the film offers an intimate, inside look at the complex dynamics, conflicts, and backstage demands that defined the group’s final global spin. It captures the raw camaraderie and the extraordinary connection shared between the band and their devoted audience during those last 50 shows.

The project is backed by major industry partnerships. Pophouse, the Swedish entertainment company dedicated to developing KISS’s legacy through innovative formats, has teamed up with Mercury Studios to bring this monumental project to a global stage. Their vision extends beyond the documentary, exploring ways to experience the KISS universe in new ways, including an ABBA-style avatar experience.

This cinematic journey is set to premiere first on KISSOnline, powered by streaming technology partner Kiswe, with a live event scheduled for November 19th. Fans can preorder the documentary now for just $14.99, with purchasers receiving a seven-day viewing window following the premiere.

Adding to the celebratory legacy, the band is also reissuing its famed 1976 Anaheim Stadium concert in a boxed set format. Furthermore, tributes are being honored as the band revisits key moments, including an all-star tribute to late guitarist Ace Frehley at Land-Locked in Vegas, which will feature two unmasked KISS performances.

As vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley reflected on the final tour, he called the End of The Road World Tour a defining moment in KISS history, stating that the tour successfully elevated the live concert experience for fans of all generations.

Ultimately, the effort reflects a deeper commitment to the experience itself. As Leslie Greif noted, spending thirty years in the KISS universe taught him that people don’t just watch the band—they experience them. KISS: End of the Road is set to ensure that the spectacle, the energy, and the extraordinary bond between the band and their fans live on long after the final encore.
